HISTORY OF SATHYA SAI SEVA ORGANISATION, KERALA The District Office is functioning in Sri Sathya Sai Community Center, Koppam, Palakkad – 678 001 Phone : 0491 – 2902695. A Small Bhajan Mandir was built and this became Sri Sathya Sai Bhajan Mandali first and then Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, Olavakkode. The Sai Organisation in Palakkad has got all the wings of the State Level in the district also. In 1968 December, Bhagawan Baba during His visit to Palakkad, came to this place and laid down the Foundation Stone for a Bhajan Mandir. Simultaneously Bhajan & Spiritual activities were going on in Palakkad under the Leadership of Sri KC Unni Nair, Sri Parameswara Iyer, Sri Krishna Swami, and Prof P V Vaidyanathan.
Out of His immense Love Swami sent His dear most devotee Prof N Kasthuri to this mandir a couple of times to conduct study circle and convey His Message. This is the only one such Mandir in Kerala where Swami Himself laid the Foundation Stone with His divine hands. With the blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, we are happy to release, on the occasion of Bhagawan’s 96th Birthday, a Study Guide titled ‘Nine Gems: Part 2’ a compilation of nine letters written by our dearest Swami to His devotees.
